"MY STORY — KAKA FELIX I am Kaka Felix, a son of Dagoretti South, born and raised in this community. I have lived among our people, shared in their challenges, celebrated their achievements, and witnessed firsthand the hopes and aspirations of our families and young people. My journey has taught me that true leadership begins with being part of the community you seek to serve. I believe in standing with families who are struggling and supporting those who are unable to meet their basic needs, whenever I can. To me, helping someone in need is not about seeking recognition—it is about restoring hope and human dignity. I have also remained committed to participating in and supporting community activities that bring people together, because a united community is better positioned to solve its challenges. A major focus of my work is our youth. I believe our young people do not lack potential; they need opportunities, skills, mentorship, and an environment where they can turn their talents into sustainable livelihoods. I support initiatives that encourage self-employment, entrepreneurship, skills development, and meaningful economic opportunities. I also believe we must confront the challenges of crime and drug abuse through education, mentorship, sports, skills training, family support, and positive community engagement. Our youth deserve a future defined by opportunity rather than addiction or crime. Most importantly, I encourage young people to participate in leadership and community decision-making. Leadership should not belong to a select few. Young people must be given the confidence, knowledge, and opportunity to take their rightful place in shaping the future of Dagoretti South. I am not presenting myself as someone above the community. I am one of you. I live here, I understand the community, and I believe in serving with humility, integrity, and respect. Dagoretti South is not just where I was born—it is home. It is where my story began, and where my commitment to community continues. Kaka Felix — Serving People, Empowering Youth, Building Unity."
